SA is light years away from Nigeria. This exhibition could NEVER be shown here, and paradoxically, these are images based on images from nigerian films... i mean in the way that rome denounces madonnas use of the crucifixion imagery/christ, you would expect some protest, but my art lovin' establishment would be burned down and i'd be branded the antichrist or at least demon posessed if i dared hang these wonderful pictures.
