I could understand it, and it didn&#39;t take a lifetime to read either.<br /><br />I hadn&#39;t been following the ill-health and the effects it was having on the nation so closely, as I thought the president will be back in no time to resume the presidential mantle.<br /><br />I was unaware of the feverish activity and expectation that is underway, especially in political circles in the north.<br /><br />What alarmed me was the rampant theft occurring in in government circles whilst the president is away. I hope this is not the case, but knowing Nigeria ...<br /><br />About the $50 million villa for the vice-president. There are countless more needy cases, but alas they are overlooked for someone who doesn&#39;t need a presidential villa. That is a real shame.<br /><br />Who knows how this all will play out? I was only aware of the seriousness of the matter after reading an article written by Nigeria&#39;s close friend and neighbour Ghana (I read it on the 24/12/2009). (I&#39;m impressed by those guys.
