Ooh anymore pictures on the interior? Would you say that Abeokuta/ ogun State is trying to stake its claim on tourism? What was your feeling about the whole place?
As a former General Manager of this place in the late seventies and early eighties, it was then the number one hotel in Nigeria. Sadly it was all a political pawn , with no funds, and was abandoned by the Management Company. Moral, Five star hotels in some sort of awful Nigerian city do not suceed. It was a nightmare to run, and all the expats left in droves.
