i've been thinking - to what extent are we prepared to change our behaviour in response to tackling climate change - individual, begin with thyself type thing.
when will it stop being cool to feel and declare to others that we are well-travelled?
to what extent are we prepared to curtail our consumerist habits for the betterment ('Better life' a la Maryam IBB type lingo) of the planet and these future generations that we apparently care about(do we)?
I'm not sure.
In the meantime - it's easier to attack celebrities like Brad and Angelina for their private jet travel.
Anybody else but me, for - Am I prepared to change my consumerist habits? Are you? And you? And you?
i try to be low impact (on the environment and basic lifestyle) ... while i am not frugal, i am not a rampant consumer either.
to each his own, but i think you have to look at things in a large picture.
there are not ENDLESS resources, anywhere on earth.
if we all approached life like that, many of us would naturally change our lifestyles, but i think we like our high tech indulgent lifestyles way too much.
