The gamblers
When I was in London recently, I sneaked inside a gambling parlour near Chancery Lane. I took a few shots of these guys, every second expecting them to look up and shout. Neither of them noticed my presence - they were too engrossed in their betting. Is there anything more desolately male than the image of men betting their lives away in a lurid smoke-filled room?

absolutely...the image of 80-year old grannies with their fags firmly stuck in their mouths pouring their entire lives savings into the slot machines of las vegas and atlantic city.
