My fascination with Brachychiton acerifolius (the flame tree) continues. I snapped these two pods off a tree down our street on Sunday. When you shake them all the seeds rattle inside. Nature's maracas.

Small things like shaking a flame tree pod bring back happy childhood memories. Have you tried agbalumoh? Spelt or pronounced that way?? I miss the sweet sour taste of that fruit plus its seed used for various games collection.
