Album art
CDs have been around for so many years now we have almost forgotten that buying music in the past was almost as much about the album art as it was about the music itself. The Golden Age of album art was surely the 1970s. King Sunny Ade's albums are collector's items in this regard.

Have you seen Fela's covers? I vividly remember the explosion of colours on 3- Yellow Fever, JJC and ITT...worth tracking down on your next visit to Lagos- there was a shop at Ikeja bus stop that stocked them....
